Key skills for the job
Lead FP&A oversight Planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, scenario simulations and performance reporting to support the company's major business decisions and future financial health. He or she is responsible to provide thoughtful analysis for decision-making in all matters operational, financial, and strategic. Setting up of SOPs with high level of governance, system development and automation, He or she provides inputs to Lead FMC / finance controller / CFO for their decision making and planning. In addition, he or she will be required to coordinate with Central team of both the JV partners and to provide financial insights and projections for their review / decision making. He or she is expected to Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
Role & responsibilities
Lead FP&A is responsible for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting process also shall work on multiple projects simultaneously, under aggressive deadlines, while maintaining high standards of governance. He or She is expected to perform following task:
Budgeting and forecasting & MIS
Develop annual budget (AOP) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Also, to share quarterly update on AOP to JV partners along with revised estimate, monitor budget utilization and provide recommendations for cost optimization with all budgetary controls in place. Preparation of 5-year plan of the organization and clear AOP and 5-year plan with JV partners.
System developments:
Design, develop, and implement SAP / other solutions to meet the organization's reporting requirements. Develop and implement a system which capture periodical trend based on actual numbers and forecast MIS. Development of Flash and forecast MIS through system.
Preferred candidate profile
CA / ICWA / MBA with 10 - 15 years of experience
Excellent financial and quantitative skills. Strong analytical skills, business acumen, Detailed oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
An ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to guide and influence people. Values and upholds team's interests above individual interests and demonstrates the same in day-to-day actions. Manage, mentor and develop F P & A team.
Effective presentation and communication skills, detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work on multiple task together to maintain calm and respectful interaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Positive attitude, energetic, determined to be successful, a person with go getter skills.
Advance knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BI tools. He or she has strong presentation skills. He or she has experience of working in SAP / ERP.
An ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on speed, compliance, and governance.
