Role Description

We are seeking an experienced L3 Infrastructure Server, Storage, VMware and Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing managing, and optimizing infrastructure. You will play a key role in supporting our Managed Services Operations and enabling business growth through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage all the infrastructure related activities.
• Handling migration projects.
• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Documentation and SOP’s
• Train and Mentor Operations team.
• Implement and manage solutions – DR, Backup as Services etc.
• Implement and manage tools – Infra monitoring, App and DB monitoring.
• Troubleshoot issues with help of implemented tools.
• Responsible for Problem Management and RCA’s.
• Identify and address infrastructure and related setup vulnerabilities.
• Address Escalation for Operation team.
• Regularly report Server and Service uptime.
• Handle first level escalation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Experience

• In-depth understanding of Server, Storage, VMware and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Level 3 understanding of Operating systems – Windows, Linux.
• OEM certification is a plus – Microsoft, Cisco etc.

Communication and Collaboration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audience.
• Strong collaboration skills working effectively with internal teams.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology or equivalent.
• Overall 10+ years of experience in technical support and account management, preferably managed services.
