Job Description
M.Sc. Geology with 7 to 10 years
- Coordinate the design, schedule and oversee drilling programs to ensure the provision of timely and accurate coal /Mineral volume data for analysis.
- Prepare Sample advice, collect sample, Lithology Correction Plan, test sample with CMPDI, CIMFR, Chemical Lab and analyze the results for grade
- Supervise drilling Site and give necessary instructions to drilling operators
- Enter Geological data into Minex Modelling software, update Model estimate reserves
- Prepare Geological Database , prepare reports. prepare geological maps with coal/ore markups, calculate coal/ore reserves.
- Interpret geological data and develop mine level plans
- Ensure quality assurance and control including regular laboratory audits
- Manage production and stockpile tracking
- Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety culture
- Provide support to Mining Team to optimize coal/ore extraction
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to effectively communicate geological and grade reserves
- Conduct geological studies for other sites and Prepare plan for drilling.
- Prepare budget for geological studies
- Prepare 3D modelling for commercial/MDO blocks
- Conduct production borehole drilling, Quality control of ROM, ensure selective mining for better coal
