SAP Delivery Lead SD

This position is to ensure seamless operation and strategic alignment of SAP ECC6 Suit-On-HANA systems with business objectives. This role involves leading a high-performing team, managing complex SAP projects, and providing robust support to over 5000 users. Manage and drives digital transformation, optimizes SAP functionalities, and ensures compliance with industry standards. It is expected to focus on business risk management, cost efficiency and stakeholder engagement to enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction. By integrating innovative SAP solutions, supports the organizations growth and competitiveness.

Role & responsibilities

Leadership & Management:

• Lead and manage the SAP delivery team, ensuring efficient and effective support. o Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless SAP operations and project delivery.
• Demonstrate proven experience in leading and managing teams to achieve project goals

SAP Expertise:

• Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in SAP SD, with over 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP modules including FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, PS, QM, HR, PI/PO, BW, SAC, TRM, REFX, Open Text, VIM, xECM, Oracle Fusion Cloud Application, Data Lake, BCP, and SAP Disaster Recovery.

Project Management:

• Manage and deliver SAP projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and report on project progress to senior management.
• Utilize project management methodologies & tools to ensure effective execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are achieved.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to stakeholders on project status and performance.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the SAP strategy, aligning with the organizations goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements

User Support & Training:

• Ensure high levels of user satisfaction by providing timely and effective support and training
• Develop and implement user training programs to enhance SAP proficiency across the organization.

Preferred candidate profile

Total Years (Band): 15 + Years Years (Relevant) 5 Years in SD Module

Seniority (desirable) : E2E SAP/S4 HANA Project implementation

Certification : SAP SD certification is preferred

Types of Organization : MNC / Indian / Conglomerates

Types of Sectors : Process Manufacturing product industry.

Cement Sector is preferred
