Store Incharge / Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the overall functioning of the store to ensure efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of construction materials and project-related items.
• Implement inventory management best practices to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages.
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to understand material requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Oversee the handling and storage of materials to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss.
• Lead a team of store staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and motivation.
• Develop and enforce safety and security procedures to safeguard the store's inventory and assets.
• Regularly update and maintain accurate records of stock levels, inward and outward movements, and other relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the store operations.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address any store-related issues and maintain smooth operations

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
• Understanding of safety and compliance standards related to material handling and storage
• Experience in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
