Senior Manager- Power Electrolnics

B. Tech/M.Tech in Power electronics & Electrical systems engineering , Electrical power distribution

.Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals a must
2.Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic design especially in Inverter and converters design
3.Support the development of technical , product roadmaps ,design standards and procedures
4.Experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing.
5.Experience in designing and implementing different AC-DC, DC-DC converters & motor inverters for different applications,Understanding on magnetics, including the selection of switching devices, gate driver selection, modulation techniques and filter design.
6.Expertise in modelling , simulation, and control of power electronics convertors
7.Knowledge on Drives, VFD, motor controls, & modulation techniques for three-phase invertors.
8.Experience in power electronic design & development for 1.5KV and 4000 A productlines
9.Design, implement, and test new power electronic control software to meet documented requirements for power conversion products (Wind, Solar, Drives)
10.Develop FMEA and risk mitigation plans
11.Ability to integrate power electronic systems into larger electrical systems, understanding system-level interactions, and ensuring seamless compatibility.
12.Proficiency in troubleshooting power electronic systems, conducting failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
13.Awareness of UL and CE electrical safety requirements and EMC requirements relevant to power converters
14.High voltage switching power supply test and development
15.Test and debug of prototype and production power supply assemblies
16.Design verification testing of completed products
17.Support bid and proposal activity by leading feasibility assessments, concept development within area of expertise, execution of trade studies and creation of technical content
18.Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that includes controls engineering, power conversion design, mechanical design, control hardware design, and Integration / Test
19.Interface with test technicians, assembly personnel, engineers, customers and suppliers
20.The candidate will provide direction to design or technical staff, and may lead a team of professional staff
