Job Description
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead and coordinate safety training programs for employees and contractors to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish safety goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging safety technologies to proactively address safety concerns.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external stakeholders on safety-related matters.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related issues and initiatives.
- Champion a safety-first culture by promoting employee engagement and participation in safety programs and initiatives.
