Job Description
- Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in engineering, or a related area, with a Masters degree preferred
- Full time course (One Year) in Industrial Safety from reputed college/Technical board of Education Experiences: Minimum experience: 12 -15 years in Oil & Gas /Energy/Hydrocarbon and chemical Sector
- With Exposure to Green field and Brownfield sites, Construction safety and other project based experiences
- Hands-on experience of handling at least two oil e, gas / petrochemical / chemical project of similar size and scale Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as knowledge of codes, standards and various acts
- Experience of audit and incident investigation
- Experience in conducting training and awareness session Strong People Management skills along with exposure in managing large teams (Team size including Direct as well as indirect reports > 20)
- Support in establishing a safety function, processes, and guidelines from the scratch for the new business develop safety related SOPs, system and processes
- Ensuring that all the safety requirements are met and followed by contractors
- Monitoring to ensure that all the safety aspect are handled as per safety policies and practices
- Support in preparing safety standards, guidelines and policies to be implemented at site Ensure zero safety incidents at site, through effective monitoring and action promotes safe practices at the job site
- Responsible for reviewing and meeting all safety standard requirements for record-keeping
- Responds to employees safety concerns Ensure emergency response drills are conducted based on the potential emergency scenarios
- Coordinates registrations and removal of hazardous site Support to conduct investigations of all accidents and near-misses
- Interact with internal agencies including legal authorities, professional HSE Bodies, clients, sub contractors, certification 8- training institute
- Ensure required First Aid Arrangemnets including training to staff are in place
- Advice the construction manager , discipline leads on the same
- identify training requirements for HSE Engineers and Execution Team members in coordination with the client and the project manager
- Support in Implementation HSE Management System well versed in developing project specific HSE Plan Plan and conduct HSE assurance and auditing in line with group safety guidelines and project requirements
- Support in developing Hazard &- Effect management Plan (HEMP) for construction and CSU activities
- Support in providing FIRE &- SAFETY coverage during Pre-commissioning, Commissioning 8- startup activities of the project
- Support the execution team and contractors to conduct Risk Assessment for construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & startup activities to ensure safe execution
- Prepare Emergency Response &- Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP) as per guidelines
