Executive/Manager - Business Development
Responsibilities:
- Build the Pipeline - sourcing and converting prospective opportunities into sales/revenue.
- Develop business plan and sales strategy for the market
- Set quarterly/annual targets in consultation with senior management.
- Developing an action plan to achieve agreed targets
- Identify new clients including corporates, investment firms, private equity, asset managers and brokerage firms for our Investment research practice
- Communicate research opportunities with clients with the intention to close deals
- Build referral and lead generation network
- Identify new areas for research support and working with the delivery teams to pilot and commercialize these ideas
- Perform any ad hoc duties / projects as assigned by the management
Background and desired skill sets:
- Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed institute
- Experience in the MENA/USA market of 4+ years is preferred.
- Preferable exposure to Hedge funds, PEs, asset management firms, etc.
- Self-motivated and go-getter with a positive outlook
- Excellent communicator and listener to understand client's request.
- Interpersonal skills and team player to achieve targets
