Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP and associated frameworks.
Design and implement Restful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Optimize application performance and scalability through efficient code and database design.
Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth application functionality.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends in PHP development.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Ensure the security and integrity of applications by adhering to security best practices.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Tailwind.
Proficiency with PHP frameworks and CMS such as Laravel, Wordpress, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Experience in Wordpress plugin development.
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including database schema design and optimization.
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
Solid understanding of web security practices, including input validation, authentication, and authorization.
Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting applications.
