Role & responsibilities

• Supporting a US based PE credit client in DUCO reconciliation tool implementation
• Daily cash reconciliation of activities in Geneva, Prime brokers, custodians and cash accounts
• Daily position reconciliation of holdings in Geneva, Prime brokers and custodians
• Investigating differences in position quantities, updating Geneva to cure any differences, resolving differences with third party banks, agents and counterparties, and reviewing transaction support like agent notices, remits, funding memos, flow of funds, etc.
• Reconciling the historical transactions to clear and report the aged breaks
• Setting up DUCO for new loans by going through Credit agreements, term sheet and other legal documents.
• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and daily review of Markit Geneva Accelerator.
• Loan servicing in DUCO/GENEVA i.e., rollover, payments, borrowing, fees, spread changes, maturity date update, etc. as per agent bank notices
• Trade settlement as per custody cash movements
• Interacting pro-actively with various stakeholders like custodians, banks, and PE fund managers on a day-to-day-basis
• Manage month end closing activities.
• Setting up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) by laying down the processes and internal check frameworks to achieve the overall objective
• Client Management: Understanding project request, negotiate deadline and handling client queries.
• Project Management: Project structuring, planning, conceptualizing output.

Preferred candidate profile

• B. Com Graduate/MBA finance/CA/CFA
• 2-10 years of experience in fund accounting, Asset servicing, cash, and position reconciliation of private equity funds
• Knowledge of databased Markit (for notices), Geneva reporting (cash and Long-short position)
• Experience in working on various tools such as Geneva, DUCO, Alteryx, Markit, Alter Domus, Clearpar, Redux
• Strong in finance fundamentals and analytical skills
• Excellent in MS Excel to process varied data sets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with project management, client relationship management, analytical, and teamwork skills
