AWS Cloud Security Engineer (5-7 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Implement cloud security best practices to safeguard AWS environments, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.

- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to protect cloud infrastructure.

- Analyze applications and services for vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures.

- Monitor security threats using firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus solutions, and IDPS.

- Automate security processes to enhance cloud security and streamline workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide security guidance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

- Perform regular audits and risk assessments to drive continuous improvements.

- Document security findings and effectively communicate risks to stakeholders.

- Manage container security with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Enforce network security protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, and HTTP/S.

- Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation and infrastructure management.

Requirements & Qualifications :

- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar security role.

- Strong experience with automation tools and scripting languages to enhance security operations.

- In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

- Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating network vulnerabilities.

- Hands-on experience in network penetration testing and security assessments.

- Solid understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM solutions, antivirus tools, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS).

- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
