Acnovate - Tester - Manual/Automation Testing (6-8 yrs)

Job Description :

The Oracle RMS Tester will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Oracle RMS applications. They will be responsible for executing manual tests, managing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for Oracle RMS applications.

- Ensure test coverage aligns with functional requirements and business objectives.

- Identify and report defects accurately and effectively.

- Create and manage test data sets to simulate real-world scenarios.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the testing process.

- Use defect tracking tools to log, track, and prioritize defects.

- Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects and verify fixes.

- Execute regression tests to ensure that changes to the application do not introduce new defects.

- Maintain regression test suites and update them as needed.

- Demonstrate expertise in SQL, including joins, subqueries, and other complex queries.

- Use SQL to extract and analyze data for testing purposes.

- Proficiently use test management tools to organize test cases, track progress, and report results.

- Experience working in an Agile environment, understanding concepts like sprints, iterations, and user stories.

- Collaborate effectively with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate test results and findings clearly and concisely.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

6-8 years of experience in manual testing

3-4 years of experience with Oracle RMS applications

Strong SQL skills, including proficiency in joins and subqueries

Experience with test management tools

Understanding of Agile methodologies

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with automation testing tools

- Knowledge of Oracle database concepts

- Experience with performance testing

- Certification in Oracle RMS or related technologies
