Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as experience with mobile application testing, particularly in Android environments. Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Android Studio and Postman for API testing is essential. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and debugging.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications developed for Android platforms, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Utilize Android Studio to execute test cases and identify defects or inconsistencies in the software.

- Perform API testing using Postman, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of APIs within the software ecosystem.

- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and communicate findings to the development team.

- Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported bugs, providing detailed reports and documentation.

- Continuously strive to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of software testing efforts.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer, with a focus on mobile application testing.

- Strong proficiency in testing Android applications, with hands-on experience using Android Studio.

- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex software issues.

- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing and quality assurance.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Jira is Mandatory and Automation Testing using Java Selenium is plus.
