Job Description
- Platform Strategy: Define the vision and strategy for platform development, including API infrastructure, developer tools, and lifecycle management for insurance products.
- Core Product Development: Lead the development of key platform products like fraud detection modules, policy management systems, partner platforms/portals and claim automation.
- Integration & Developer Experience: Enhance developer tools, documentation, and API gateways to ensure easy integration for partners and developers.
- Project Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, scalable solutions that meet customer and business needs.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of market trends to introduce new platform capabilities that differentiate Acko in the insurance tech space.
- Own the platform strategy and roadmap for core infrastructure components including API gateway, SDK development, and documentation
- Build and optimize unified onboarding tools and policy management systems
- Develop fraud detection modules and other differentiated platform capabilities
- Lead the platformization of key lifecycle touchpoints across claims, customer service, and policy management
- Design and implement broker and agent platforms with comprehensive policy management capabilities
- Drive automation initiatives for claims processing and customer service operations
- Create developer-friendly tools and documentation to enable seamless integration
- Work with engineering teams to ensure platform scalability and performance
- 5-8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in platform or infrastructure products
- Strong technical background with experience in API design, SDKs, and developer tools
- Track record of building scalable enterprise platforms or infrastructure products
- Experience with insurance or fintech platforms is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of B2B integration patterns and enterprise architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
