Sr. Designer - Apparel

• Conceptualizing and Designing: Create designs based on directions received from buyers and independently develop new designs that align with market trends.
• Seasonal Collection Development: Design and curate your own seasonal collections for buyer presentations.
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research of global markets to identify emerging trends in shapes, colors, fabrics, and overall fashion aesthetics.
• End-to-End Design Development: Oversee the entire design process, including fabric selection, design review, technical specifications, and sample requisition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with pattern makers and the sampling team to bring designs to life, ensuring technical and aesthetic accuracy.
• Fit and Alterations: Manage fittings and make necessary adjustments to prototypes to ensure a perfect fit and maintain design integrity.
• Client Engagement: Present designs to clients, buyers, and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine the collections.
• Documentation and Presentation: Prepare detailed design documents and samples for buyer presentations and internal reviews.
• Market Pulse: Stay attuned to market trends and customer preferences to ensure designs remain relevant and competitive.
• Costing Knowledge: Understand garment costing to design within budget parameters while maintaining quality and style.
• Experience- 8-10 Years
• Must have sound expeosure of catering European & USA high fashion clients

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or an equivalent field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with expertise in sketching, sewing, and material selection.
• Creative Aptitude: A sharp and innovative thinker with a passion for fashion and the ability to generate unique, trend-forward ideas.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate concepts and collaborate effectively.
• Team Orientation: A proactive team player with strong initiative and the ability to work independently when required.
• Location Requirement: Candidates must be based in Gurgaon or willing to relocate to the region.
