SAP Consultant - SD/MM Modules (5-14 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP SD/MM Consultant specializing in outbound processes to support our automotive clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) processes, with expertise in shipping, labeling, and EDI in an automotive environment. Knowledge of related areas like EWM, customs processes, and subcontracting will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP SD and MM Processes : Design, configure, and support SAP SD/MM solutions, focusing on outbound logistics processes.

- Shipping Processes : Implement and optimize shipping processes tailored to the automotive industry, including handling unit (HU) management and meeting specific customer requirements.

- Labeling and EDI : Manage labeling requirements and ensure seamless Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integration for Advance Shipping Notifications (ASN) and other data exchanges.

- Automotive Industry Expertise : Address industry-specific challenges, including compliance with standards and customer-specific needs.

- Drop-Shipping & Subcontracting : Configure and optimize drop-shipping processes and subcontracting with customers and vendors.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment of business processes.

- Documentation and Training : Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide end-user training as needed.

- Proactive Problem Solving : Take ownership of tasks, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions with minimal supervision.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Strong experience in SAP SD and MM modules, particularly in outbound processes.

- Expertise in shipping, labeling, EDI, and ASN processes within the automotive industry.

- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English.

- Highly proactive and independent working style with a strong sense of ownership.

- Knowledge of drop-shipment and subcontracting processes for customers and vendors."
