SAP MM Consultant - SD/FI Modules (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Procurement to Pay (P2P) processes and their configuration within the SAP MM module.

This role requires a hands-on approach with experience in special procurement processes, such as Consignment, Subcontracting, and Stock Transfers (STO). A solid grasp of integration with SD and FI modules is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

P2P Process Expertise :

- Deep understanding of P2P processes and their configuration in SAP MM.

- In-depth knowledge of OTC processes.

Special Procurement Processes :

- Hands-on experience with Consignment, Subcontracting, and STO.

Module Integrations :

- Well-versed in the integration of MM with SD and FI modules.

Technical Proficiency :

- Extensive experience with IDoCs, Outputs, and Background jobs.

- Ability to design and develop custom programs, prepare functional specifications for programs/enhancements involving BAPI/BADI/BDC, with a strong focus on error handling.

Project Lifecycle :

- Experience in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.

Troubleshooting :

- Basic troubleshooting skills with ABAP debugging.

Communication & Collaboration :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to effectively present ideas and solutions using various tools.

- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Problem-Solving :

- Ability to analyze business requirements and propose alternative solutions.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant.

- Strong understanding of SAP MM configurations, including Master Data, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Material Valuation.

- Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA is preferred.

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
