Lead Audit and Compliance - Supply Chain

Overview :

• Responsible for overseeing and executing audits across the supply chain to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Play a critical role in identifying risks, improving processes, and enhancing transparency within the supply chain network.
• This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

A. Primary responsibilities

• Audit Planning and Execution:
• Develop comprehensive audit plans outlining objectives, scope, methodologies, and timelines.
• Execute audits effectively, ensuring adherence to planned schedules and methodologies.
• Conduct thorough assessments of supply chain processes, SOPs & Workflows to identify compliance, gaps and risks.
• Identify Risks and Opportunities:
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain that could impact cost & service.
• Analyze audit findings to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to key stakeholders, including senior management, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Track and monitor corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate audit processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to suppliers to help them meet compliance requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations to assess adherence to contractual agreements and service level expectations.
• Training and Development:
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate internal teams and suppliers on compliance requirements and audit processes.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members involved in audit activities to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the audit team and across the supply chain network.
• Process Improvement and Efficiency:
• Analyze audit findings to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, preventive measures, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Digitalisation of process
• Proposing and working with IT team on digitalisation of supply chain process and workflows ensuring adherence to SOPs.

People development

• Support & collaborate to foster a performance driven culture in the team.
• Actively participate in HR initiatives to drive overall employee engagement and motivation.
• Engage effectively with cross functional teams.
