Role Title: Manager EXIM Incentives, Benefits & Compliance

Job Objective

• Providing complete support across ACG Group Companies for all the Export-Import related benefits, incentives and compliances
• Collaborating with various stakeholders across Group companies in India to ensure all the benefits and compliance related to Customs, DGFT and GST are availed or adhered in totality within specified timelines.

Primary responsibilities

Strategic and planning

Supporting ACG Group Companies in finalizing the appropriate Benefits & Incentive schemes suitable as per the business model.

Core Functional

• Co-ordinating for evaluation of benefits and arranging Advance Licenses and EPCG Licenses to various group companies
• Ensuring that the Exports documents are prepared correctly to ensure receipt of export benefit and take corrective actions wherever necessary in timely manner
• Ensuring that various licenses are utilized across the ACG group companies in appropriate manner
• Arranging documentary evidence for Advance Licenses showing in Alert List of customs and obtaining IEC lock extension and allowing Export Import activities and Registration of Advance License
• Monitoring and Follow-up with plant logistics team for confirmation of payment, e-BRC updation, correction in e-BRC's against each shipping bills
• Scrutinize the closure documents received from plant logistics and send to service provider for final submission for closures and follow up until EODC letter is received
• Calculating duty on excess import and take approval with justification along with supporting documents
• Arranging advance license closure application duly attested by Chartered Accountants.
• Intimating to all stakeholders about updates in Export Import Policy in the forms of various notifications/ circulars
• Visiting to Group Company locations and service providers and conducting monthly review for all the group companies and circulating reports as per criteria laid down by corporate Logistics
• Coordination with all internal customers for resolution of issues raised by them related to Export Benefits
• Generating and providing the RoDTEP Scrips to ACG Group Companies /CHA for Import utilization and keep track on it.
• Attending personal hearing against demand notices issued related to Export benefits and give suitable replies with documentary evidence
• Arranging registration of Advance Licenses and EPCG License with BG wherever applicable
• Handling activities related to license obligations such as Installation Certificates required for EPCG License.
• Arranging renewal of self-sealing/factory stuffing permission for ACG Group companies
• Conducting training on Export benefit to internal group company wherever required
• Ensure renewal of RCMC, updation and revalidation of all IEC of ACG Group Companies
• Evaluation and Selection of new service partners/consultants from the market in the field of Customs & DGFT
• Preparing the monthly MIS on the highlights of all the benefits & compliances across ACG Group companies

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Any Graduate with Certification course in EXIM with Masters in SCM or Operations
• Experience of 12 - 15 years
