Duties And Responsibilities of A DGM/ GM Export Marketing

Here are some job duties and responsibilities of DGM/GM Export Marketing

• Research, develop, and manage export business plans, trade agreements and export strategies.
• Ensure compliance of import & Export laws and regulations.
• Handle documentation, such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, invoices, and commercial agreements.
• Arrange transportation of goods.
• Negotiate freight rates and taxes.
• Meet with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Evaluate customer feedback and take corrective action.
• Monitor market trends and develop strategies to increase export sales.
• Provide guidance and support to other staff in the organization.
• Manage the export operations in compliance with DGFT/ FTP/FEMA, custom laws, notifications, tariffs, EXIM policy and RBI rules for exports, Excise formalities related to exports, bond operations.
• Coordinate and negotiate with shipping companies, local transporter, CHAs, Freight Forwarders for booking of containers, custom clearance etc at best possible prices for lecithin liquid shipments.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Export/International Marketing, Business Management and Business Development
• 15-20 years relevant experience in export of Gums or Food and biotech products or chemicals worldwide including Europe , USA and Japan .
• Experience in market/foreign customer development for existing and new R&D products will be desirable.
