Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled, Senior Software Engineer with expertise in the PHP tech stack including but not limited to Laravel, NodeJS & React.js. The ideal candidate should also have experience in analyzing solution architecture, be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and contribute to both R&D and hands-on development.

This role requires strong leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to architect scalable solutions while ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

l Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, React.js and related web technologies.

l Have a strong hold in Database concepts and its technologies including at least MySQL, PostgreSQL

l Lead multiple projects from inception to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

l Perform hands-on development as needed.

l Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

l Conduct R&D on emerging technologies to improve existing applications and drive innovation.

l Optimize application performance, security, and maintainability.

l Implement best practices for code quality & testing.

l Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers.

l Ensure proper documentation and adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Required Skills & Experience

l Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework.

l Experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.

l Hands-on Experience in integrating 3rd party applications

l Proficiency in RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture.

l Experience with solution architecture and designing scalable applications.

l Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.

l Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (Git).

l Hands-on experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Automated Testing.

l Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

l Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor team members.

Nice-To-Have Skills

l Previous experience in healthcare & ERP applications.

l Familiarity with Queue Management Systems like Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

l Exposure to AI/ML, Blockchain, or IoT technologies.
