Senior PHP Laravel Backend Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior PHP Laravel Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to take ownership of client projects at Blitzy. This role combines technical expertise with client interaction, as you'll be working directly with clients while collaborating with our US-based team.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and implement robust backend solutions using PHP Laravel
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Manage database design and optimization (MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up and manage monitoring solutions using Grafana
• Ensure high-quality code delivery through proper testing and documentation
• Collaborate with US-based leadership team

Preferred candidate profile:

• 5+ years of hands-on PHP Laravel development experience
• Strong expertise in MariaDB and PostgreSQL database design
• Experience with Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana)
• Strong communication skills for client interaction
• Professional English communication
• Experience working independently on projects
• History of successful project delivery
