Lead PHP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to one of our leading European product-based company specializing in cutting-edge software solutions in the [industry domain, e.g., fleet management, IoT, payment solutions]. With a strong presence in the market, we focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and innovative products that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of the leading SaaS web applications in our parking industry. It requires a deeper range of skills from backend and frontend in the space of PHP as the product is historically grown and requires good analytical and programming skills.

Technical Skills Required

• PHP8 and PHP-FPM
• Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter (or similar frameworks)
• MySQL and MSSQL
• JavaScript & HTML5 & CSS3
• REST API Development, SMB protocol, sFTP
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• MVC Architecture
• Version Control (GitLab)

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, is a plus.
• Experience with Docker, Nginx and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development
• Proven expertise in building and deploying scalable web applications.
• Strong database management skills with MySQL and MSSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
