Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with electronics engineers, product engineering teams, industrial designers, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Use SOLIDWORKS software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings for electronic and mechanical products, ensuring design integration and manufacturability.
• Contribute creative design concepts and innovative solutions to enhance product aesthetics, functionality, and user experience.
• Assist in the design and prototyping of electronic enclosures, components, and packaging, considering thermal management, structural integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility.
• Perform engineering analyses and simulations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in design reviews, providing recommendations for design optimization and refinement.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure accurate bill of materials (BOM) generation and component sourcing.
• Maintain organized documentation of design files, drawings, and technical reports to facilitate effective communication and project traceability.
• Stay updated with advancements in electronic product design, mechanical engineering practices, and relevant technologies.

Requirements / Qualification :

• BE/ME (Mech / Industrial / Production / Mechatronics) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience: 3 to 7 Years
• Excellent command over Solidworks
• Effective analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with thermal analysis, structural analysis, and design for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) will be a plus.
• Experience with machine designs will be an added advantage.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams.
