Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Director & CEO

Job Type: Full-time

Experience - 5 to 8 Years


Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads across various platforms. This role requires expertise in social media marketing, creative content development, and data analytics to optimize performance and achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends and algorithms and possess excellent communication and project management skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals.
  • Set clear social media objectives (brand awareness, engagement, lead generation) and performance KPIs (reach, impressions, conversions).
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform developments, and algorithm changes to optimize strategy.
  1. Content Creation and Management:
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content (graphics, videos, posts) for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely promotion of key events, products, and campaigns.
  • Write compelling copy that is optimized for engagement and platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (designers, videographers, product teams) to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and goals.
  1. Community Management:
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster a positive online community.
  • Build relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and industry-related audiences to grow brand credibility.
  • Monitor and manage any potential crisis situations or negative feedback on social media platforms.
  1. Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, growth, traffic, conversions) to measure success and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and third-party analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to monitor performance.
  • Provide monthly reports to the marketing team and leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
  1. Paid Advertising:
  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Optimize ad performance through A/B testing, targeting, and budget management to achieve the highest return on investment (ROI).
  1. Collaborations and Partnerships:
  • Identify and manage partnerships with influencers, brands, or content creators to expand the companys reach and engagement.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to maximize the impact of influencer campaigns.
  1. Trend Research and Innovation:
  • Continuously research new social media platforms, tools, and features that can enhance engagement and brand visibility.
  • Experiment with innovative content formats and strategies (e.g., live streaming, stories, reels, AR filters).
  1. Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure all social media content is aligned with the companys brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity.
  • Work closely with the PR and communications team to align messaging across channels.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience managing social media platforms and campaigns.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
  • Proven success in growing followers, increasing engagement, and driving conversions through social media.
  • Skills:
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of platform-specific best practices and trends.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies for improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in paid social media campaigns and budget management.
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and email marketing is a plus.
  • Experience working in B2B/B2C marketing environments.
