Department: Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical; ASNT Level 2 Experience: Minimum 4-5 Years in QA/QC in Pipeline industry

Function / Dept: Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Reporting : Head QA/QC at HO; Project Manager at Site Qualification : B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical; ASNT Level 2 Experience : Minimum 4-5 Years in QA/QC in Pipeline industry Purpose of the Position (Job Summary):
Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
Shall be responsible for:
- Assuring quality of work including but not limited to mechanical works such as welding, radiography, non destructive testing, joint coating, painting, hydro testing and shall supervise work performed at site.
- Creating and maintaining all quality related documentation at site including but not limited to Inspection & Progress reports, Material records, Calibration Certificates.
- Shall update with Knowledge of Standards and Codes such as ASME Section IX, ASME Section II, AWS, API-5L, API-1104, DNV OS-101
- Non-destructive Testing, Destructive Testing Processes and heat treatment of weld joints.
- Developing Welding Procedures as per relevant codes and ensuring work is carried out as per Established Procedures .
- Interpretation and evaluation of Radiography Films.
- Assisting Project Manager in planning of resources
- Leading proactively, identifying and eliminating reasons for non-compliance with standards.
- Updating and maintaining his professional certificate like ASNT Level II update time to time.
- Maintaining excellent rapport with Client.

- Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Site Team and Sub Contractors.
- Monitor adherence to company policies by team members..
