Overview: We are seeking a skilled and certified NDT Level II Technician with a strong background in non-destructive testing (NDT) and welding processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating weld quality, interpreting test results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, contributing to the overall quality assurance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform NDT methods, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT) , Radiographic Testing (RT) , Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) , and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) .
Evaluate weld integrity and generate detailed inspection reports.
Collaborate with inspectors and engineers to identify and resolve welding-related concerns.
Develop and implement inspection procedures while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certification: NDT Level II certified (ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ISO 9712, or equivalent).
Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of welding processes, including SMAW , GTAW , GMAW , FCAW , and SAW , as well as familiarity with standards such as ASME Sec IX and AWS D1.1 .
Analytical Skills: Proficient in interpreting weld drawings and providing quality assurance guidance.
Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related engineering field. Certifications such as CSWIP or AWS-CWI are an added advantage.
Experience:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in NDT and welding inspection, with a proven track record of ensuring quality and compliance.
