Job Purpose:.
The Regional Head will be responsible for overseeing and driving the growth of the Tyres Company's operations, sales, and business development within the designated region.
This role involves managing a team, developing strategies, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that regional business targets are met while aligning with the overall company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:.
Sales & Revenue Generation:.
- Drive sales and profitability for the region by formulating and implementing sales strategies.
- Develop and manage key accounts, dealers, distributors, and customers in the region.
- Achieve regional sales targets, track KPIs, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Identify new business opportunities, segments, and markets for growth.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the region, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning.
- Ensure the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
- Manage inventory levels, product distribution, and logistics in the region.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate regional teams to achieve targets and maintain a high level of performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Set clear performance objectives and monitor team performance.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Implement and oversee after-sales support services to ensure customer retention.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback and insights to senior management regarding regional market conditions and potential opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify growth areas and emerging trends.
P&L Responsibility:
Manage the region's profit and loss statement, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Optimize resource allocation and cost-efficiency to maximize profitability.
Compliance & Reporting:.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regional regulatory requirements.
Provide regular reports on regional performance, sales, and operational issues to senior management.
Education : BE/B.
Tech or MBA with 15+ years experience with Tyres/Automobile Industry.
