Consultant Pathologist For Delhi Location

Consultant Pathologist is a Senior Managerial role, driving the almost entire lab operations.

• Establish, Implement and maintain overall management systems in the lab.
• To monitor technical & scientific operations of entire lab.
• Clinical interface with medical specialists.
• Review all current practices to ensure compliance with APD policies, and accreditation agencies (ISO 15189, NABL-112)
• Ensures communication of laboratory data and appropriate patient result reporting.
• Ensures an effective quality management program for the laboratory includes all aspects of test performance, including pre analytical, analytical and post analytical phases of testing.
• Ensures that external quality assurance, proficiency testing, alternate assessment & quality control procedures are sufficient for the extent of testing performed in the laboratory.
• Ensure and drive Quality Control procedures on the instruments for accurate results.
• Ensures performance specifications for new test / method / instrument has been satisfactorily validated or verified prior to use for patient testing.
• Evaluate operational problems and troubleshoot with technical staff.
• Interacts with government and other agencies as appropriate.
• Ensures implementation of a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good practice and applicable regulation. To Access the competency of Laboratory Personnel.
• Review of performance and work status.
• Handling all work related problems / complaint of the area effectively.
• Ensures sufficient numbers of personnel with appropriate educational qualifications, documented training and experience, and adequate competency to meet the needs of the laboratory
• Provides for intra laboratory consultations and clinical consultations regarding the ordering of appropriate tests and the medical significance of laboratory data
• Resolution of technical queries from patients, doctors and collection centers regarding test offerings as well as test reports.
• Furnishing literature support for disputed results, if needed
