Designation: Senior Scientific Officer / Scientific Officer

Location: Kalburagi

Job Description

• Performing routine/ specialized test within TAT as per SOP.
• Identifying the problem specimens and escalating to the Section In charge / Head.
• Daily review of instrument based normal results in the system
• To analyze internal and external quality assurance specimen/ samples.
• To check daily instrument maintenance & trouble shooting of minor instrument problems.
• To maintain records of all reports as per QA guidelines.
• Maintain proper storage of specimens/ samples as per SOP.
• Observing laboratory safety precautions in handling clinical specimens and running of tests.
• Abnormal findings / test conditions to be escalated.
• Critical call-outs to attending Consultant or staff.
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
