Key Accounts - Freight Forwarding

Role & responsibilities

• Focus on existing Business to increase the wallet share.
• Coordination with the customer for new business enquiry and requirements (Existing customer).
• Should have good knowledge in freight forwarding operations
• Commercial acumen to understand and work on RFQs
• Ensure deliverables agreed with customer
• Vessel planning, transhipment and Container movements should be updated regularly to customers on time.
• Coordination with Liners, Customers, CHAs, Transporters and service providers & Overseas Agents.
• Should be able to understand VMI concepts and handle VMI projects.
• To provide customers with customised Inventory reports as and when required.
• Collection of payment within agreed credit period
• Awareness of Trade lanes Shipping Lines – business / trade
• Good & smooth coordination for customer retention and to increase business
