Team Lead US Accounting

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in core US Accounting processes or a similar domain is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of US Accounting, month-end closing, and reporting.

Role & Responsibilities:

Client-Focused:

• Manage a portfolio of 5-10 clients as a Team Lead.
• Conduct weekly client calls to ensure client satisfaction and address concerns.
• Handle client escalations promptly and professionally.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, seeking opportunities to expand business with existing clients.

Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of 8-10 members, including Bookkeepers, US Accountants, and Senior US Accountants.
• Allocate work and manage resource bandwidth effectively to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Ensure the team consistently performs with the highest level of accuracy and quality.
• Review team output regularly, addressing queries and providing guidance when necessary.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and create Loom videos for process documentation.
• Conduct individual or group training sessions as required.

Management Responsibilities:

• Report periodically on team performance, client satisfaction, and resource allocation.
• Actively contribute to process improvements and support Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Fluency in written and verbal English communication is essential.
• Previous experience handling overseas clients is a must.
• At least 6 months of experience managing a team of 6 or more members.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Strong understanding of the US Accounting process is crucial.

Shift Timings:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Shift: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday (5 days working).
