Summary:Cloudera Hadoop Cluster Administrator to manage and maintain our enterprise-level Hadoop clusters. The role requires expertise in Cloudera Manager and CDH (Cloudera Distribution including Apache Hadoop) and CDP along with strong troubleshooting skills to ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our Hadoop infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Cloudera Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager.

Experience in managing Hadoop clusters specially using CDH/Hortonworks/CDP

Monitor cluster health and performance using Cloudera Manager and other monitoring tools.

Implement and manage security policies, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to meet growing data demands

Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for Hadoop data.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, Spark, Kafka, etc.).

Collaborate with data engineers and developers to optimize Hadoop infrastructure for performance and efficiency

Evaluate and recommend upgrades and patches for Hadoop components

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to cluster configuration, processes, and procedures

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical issues promptly.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Hadoop administration and big data technologies.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Cloudera Data Platform

This position is based at our Hyderabad office
