Must have Skills :PostgreSQL AdministrationGood to Have Skills : Microsoft Azure Data ServicesJob Requirements :Key Responsibilities :1 Administer databases with regards to efficiency, data security, user security, and system integrity Database installs, upgrades, patching, security, troubleshooting and issue resolution, backup procedures, and performance tuning 2 Ensure that all database backup schedules are implemented and monitored for issues -Produce and maintain high 3 quality documentation including ERDs, architecture 4 Improve DevOps pipelines and create jobs to make dev to QA environment progression
Technical Experience :1 T-SQL, Query Store, Azure Monitor SQL Insights, indexes, statistics, query plan analysis, Postgres database administration, query tuning and schema refinement 2 Exposure to Azure SQL Cloud SQL is a plus 3 Experience implementing and supporting enterprise database systems on-prem and CloudProven -managing advanced PostgreSQL database configurations like replication clustering, etcExcellent understanding of Linux operating system
