Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve system issues.

Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

Document and maintain knowledge base articles for issue resolution.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Assist in the testing and deployment of application updates and enhancements.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Platform as a Service Providers (PaaS), Linux, AWS Administration.

Strong understanding of system architecture and components.

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python.

Familiarity with database management systems and SQL queries.

Ability to analyze logs and perform debugging.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Platform as a Service Providers (PaaS).

This position is based in Gurugram.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
