Summary:As an Application Developer in the Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to develop innovative solutions and ensuring that the applications are aligned with the business needs. You will also contribute to key decisions and engage with multiple teams to provide solutions to problems. With your expertise in Apache Spark, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our data engineering projects.The input data feed is pulled from Teradata Vantage, processed in cloud, transferred to EC2 instances for quarterly processing and outputs loaded back to S3 buckets, Unity Catalog tables and/or RDS(using Lambdas) for either consumption by downstreams or Tableau reporting.To support this very diverse technical landscape, our engineers need to be proficient in the technology used and functionality supported. They are expected, as part of the AGILE planning, to own and deliver the workable code to build, support and/or enhance the business requirements and scale up, as needed, to the ever changing technology landscape.Required Skills:

Strong Analytical skills for problem solving and issue triagingRequired Experience & Education:

9+ years of experience in development projects

A Bachelor's or Master's qualification in computer technology

Strong hands-on 5+ development experience with Sql & pyspark framework.

Hands-on experience in Python.

Hands-on experience with common AWS Services such as Terraform, Lambdas, S3, SNS, and CloudWatch.

Experience in databricks Data engineering project.

Experience in deploying applications to development, test environments and production environments
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Spark.

Resource is willing to work in B shift.
