Summary:As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure Oracle Financials Cloud applications. Your typical day will involve acting as the primary point of contact, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the design, build, and configuration of Oracle Financials Cloud applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.

Act as the primary point of contact for the project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Develop and maintain project documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and test plans.

Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.

Assess the current state finance function performance and capabilities of client organizations

Understand and design finance processes, and recommend improvement opportunities around process efficiencies and internal controls

Work closely with client representatives to build a consensus on the future state of the finance function and secure buy-in from all relevant stakeholders

Actively contribute in business development (proposals, solution, diagnostics etc.)

Provide Solution inputs, Design overall solution and interfaces required with other systems

Act as point of contact for the stream and liaise between business users and the Implementation team

Interact with business leads to gather requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud, collaborate with the technical development team on solution design, test, re-work and sign off, and work with business leads to implement the solution developed.

Lead functional solution design to address client's business requirements

Manage the documentation of the functional application processes, and user procedures.- Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Extensive experience in Oracle Financials Cloud.

Must To Have Skills:Strong understanding of Packaged Application Development.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Agile methodologies.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and related technologies.

Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or similar integration platforms.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Oracle Cloud Financial Functional Experience (AP, AR, Tax)

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Financials Cloud.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering successful Packaged Application Development projects.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
