Summary:As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve planning and executing functional tests, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Plan and execute functional tests to ensure the quality of software products.

Analyze test results and identify defects to be addressed by the development team.

Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.

Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions.

Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices.

Provide guidance and support to junior team members in test automation activities. Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.

Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Accenture Advanced Analytics Platform (AAAP).

Recommendation:Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Recommendation:Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies. Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.

This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
