Role Description:Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based servers. This role encompasses back-end IT support for business-critical and development-related departments and personnel, also configure user access and maintain system stability and data security through deployment and migration. Windows administrators leverage their expertise with the Windows operating system and server administration to develop and deploy servers, support day-to-day system performance, and prevent data loss and unauthorized access. VMware administrators create, deploy, and maintain network and server infrastructure that relies on VMware products such as vSphere. Despite computing resource-heavy tasks, VMware administrators spend much of their time on maintenance and troubleshooting to guarantee maximum performance. Key Responsibilities:1.In depth knowledge on all Windows server features and roles2.Managing windows workloads hosted VMware, Hyper-V and Public Cloud 3.Experience on working incidents, service requests and changes4.Experience in creating SOP's and Runbooks5.Identify RCA for re-occurring issues.6.Document RCA for P1 and Major Incidents.7.Experience working as team player, should work collaboratively multiple technical teams oShould be able to prioritize and execute tasks, should be able to multitask.

Technical Responsibilities:1.In depth knowledge on all Windows server features and roles2.Excellent troubleshooting skills on VMware vSphere and Hyper-V3.Experience of managing multiple versions of Windows Servers (windows 2019/2016/2012)4.Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.5.Knowledge on Nutanix AHV good to have.6.Experience in Managing Converged and Hyperconverged infrastructure.7.Experience on working incidents, service requests and changes.8.Knowledge of DR solution VMware SRM, good to have.9.Experience in creating SOP's and Runbooks.10.Experience in setup, upgradation and migration of windows server environment and VMware vSphere hypervisor environment11.Managing DHCP, File/Print services and DNS12.Creation of MS cluster and Managing clustered services13.Installation of WSUS, viewing updates, approving updates, WSUS group policies and Troubleshooting WSUS.14.Configuring & Managing Routing and Remote access services.15.Secure network traffic by using IPsec and Certificates16.Experience working on Devops tool like Ansible and Puppet.17.Managing computing resources CPU, Memory Disk and Infrastructure services18.Active Directory setup, administration and Upgradation.19.Creating GPO's according to the requirement.20.Creating and managing AD users and Groups.21.Configure Backup and Recovery of OS and applications22.Monitor and action Performance, Event logs and Security log files.23.Installing and configuration of Hypervisors Esxi 5.X and 6.X24.Install a Guest Operating System in a virtual machine.25.Setup and manage Vcenter, Virtual switch and Datastores.26.Commission and Decommission Physical and Virtual servers.27.Managing High availability and DRS on VMware Hypervisor28.Managing Snapshots.29.Converting Physical machines to Virtual Machines using VMware Converter (P2V)30.Patching ESXI hosts using update manager on vCenter Server.31.Migration of Standard switch to DV Switch.32.Troubleshooting ESXi and VM performance based on CPU, Ram, Network, Storage using VMA.
