Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting issues, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in DevOps, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.- Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications.- Act as the primary point of contact for the project.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.- Design and develop solutions that meet the project objectives.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.- Ensure the quality of deliverables through rigorous testing.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in DevOps.- Good To Have Skills:Experience with Communications Strategy.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps.- This position is based at our Gurugram office.- A 15 years full-time education is required.
