Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.

-The Database Administrator (DBA) handles multifunctional database projects. The DBA administers development/test databases.
-The DBA is primarily responsible for performing many related database functions across one or more teams. This may include: designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
-The DBA is able to install database management systems (DBMS); related software tools, and has a working knowledge of operating systems.
-The DBA is also able to submit input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Database Administration
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of database administration principles
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of databases
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for databases
- Familiarity with database security best practices

Additional Information:
â?¢ 2+ years of SQL Server DBA experience in a production environment
â?¢ 2+ years of SQL programming and performance tuning
â?¢ 2+ years of Backup/Recovery
â?¢ 2+ years shell scripting (Windows)
Relevant DB certifcation
â?¢ Cloud experience (AWS, Oracle, Azure, Google)
â?¢ Experience with other DB platforms including open source and no-sql DB (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Sybase, mySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)
â?¢ US Citizenship or Green Card
â?¢ Willingness to undergo future background check/clearance processes if needed
