Summary:As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Micro Focus LoadRunner.- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand testing requirements.- Identify and document test cases and scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.- Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.- Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.- Create and maintain test data and test environments.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation.- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues encountered during testing.- Provide support and guidance to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.- Good To Have Skills:Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.- Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration tools.- Ability to analyze and interpret test results and identify performance bottlenecks.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.- This position is based at our Pune office.- A 15 years full-time education is required.
