Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and service requests. With your expertise in Java Standard Edition and strong problem-solving skills, you will contribute to the stability and reliability of our applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve issues within critical business systems.

Ensure the timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

Contribute to the stability and reliability of applications.

Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Provide support and guidance to end-users.

Document and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Assist in the testing and deployment of application updates and enhancements.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Web Application Development.

Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.

This position is based at our Chennai office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
