Summary:As an Application Developer for Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM), you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Oracle Utilities MDM, developing and testing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test applications using Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) to meet business process and application requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, including working with business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance teams.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, including mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in Oracle Utilities MDM and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Expertise in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).

Good To Have Skills:Experience with related technologies such as Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM).

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

Experience with Java, SQL, and PL/SQL programming languages.

Experience with web services, including SOAP and RESTful APIs.

Solid grasp of database concepts and experience with Oracle databases.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions using Oracle Utilities MDM.
