Summary:As an Application Architect, you will provide functional and/or technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications. You will assist in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing requirements, designing application architectures, and providing technical guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and develop application architectures that align with business goals and objectives.

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct impact assessments and produce estimates for client work requests.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with architectural standards, security protocols, and best practices.

Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to application architecture.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize application performance.

Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES, PTC Thingworx.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with PTC Thingworx.

Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering processes and systems.

Experience in designing and implementing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions.

Knowledge of PTC Thingworx platform and its capabilities.

Familiarity with IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and their integration with MES.

Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Experience in architecting scalable and reliable application systems.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.

This position is based in Coimbatore.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
