Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the enhancement of the application support process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues reported by end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system defects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the application support process.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for incident resolution.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration.
- Good To Have Skills:Experience with Exadata Administration.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
- Solid grasp of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
