Summary:As an Application Architect, you will provide functional and/or technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications. You will assist in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing requirements, designing application architecture, and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and develop application architecture based on industry best practices and standards.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in application architecture.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Provide support and guidance during the testing and deployment phases.

Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations.

Document technical specifications and system architecture.

Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in IBM Sterling Commerce.

Strong understanding of application architecture principles and best practices.

Experience in designing and developing scalable and high-performance applications.

Knowledge of integration patterns and technologies.

Experience with cloud platforms and services.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with API management platforms.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in IBM Sterling Commerce.

This position is based at our Chennai office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
