We help clients address quality and productivity issues, keep pace with customer expectations, navigate regulatory and operational pressures and ensure business sustainability by transforming their banking operations into an agile, resilient operating model.The Corporate banking /Wholesale banking team is responsible for helping clients and organizations processes trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers whilst safeguarding the bank from risks associated with this business.Computes and presents the results of financial events by administering,managing and processing general ledger accounts. Accounts for current assets, fixed assets, liabilities, revenue and expense items, and gains and losses, and may handle related tax issues, invoice management and budgeting.

What are we looking for?

BA/BS required, Accounting or Finance degree preferred

3+ years accounting experience, real estate industry experience preferred

Detail oriented, analytical, strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively

Excellent problem-solving skills

Demonstrate a commitment to customer service

Self-starter, but can function effectively as part of a team

Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills

Experience with Yardi, MRI and JDE are a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for month-end close procedures, including updating close workpapers and variance analysis reports, review of proper income and expense classification, reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts, and ad hoc analysis reports

Review expenses and determine when to capitalize versus expense

Summarize driver of financial statement fluxes based on major categories from review of financial statement when multiple factors can be contributing:

Rental Revenue

Recoveries/Leakage

Non-Recoverable Expense

Bad Debt

Occupancy

Review income statements and balance sheets to detect potential risks and issues

Interpret complex recovery set ups

Ensure and follow up with billing team to ensure all accrued income/billing errors are corrected

Build and maintain relationships with Operations, Asset Management and Third-Party Property Managers as the main point of contact for accounting

Willingness to take on additional projects necessary with the continuous growth and development of the company

Complete various financial, accounting, and other reports and analysis, and perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned or as necessaryQualificationBCom,MCom
