Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to specifications and delivered on time. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, analyzing requirements, designing and coding applications, and testing and debugging them to ensure they meet quality standards. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving application issues and providing technical support to end-users.
Roles & Responsibilities:-Developing Java applications and services using Cigna standards-Providing technical guidance for small groups of developers on digital projects-Accountable for delivering high quality code and test automation as per Cigna standards-Collaborating on project plans with project management office-Pulling together estimates, working on POCs, presenting demos to stakeholders-Accountable for implementation of features as per architectural design-Making low-level technical decisions, producing and reviewing detailed technical designs-Participating in application security reviews-Coaching junior members of the team-Interfacing in a professional manner with internal and external users, at all levels-Using own initiative to continually identify areas of service improvement
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills:Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java Standard Edition.

Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.

Experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or Oracle.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.

This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
